Some cracking scenes there. First Afghan War is one of those ones I always meant to game, but never got around to. I find it more appealing than the more popular late Victorian shenanigans beyond the Khyber Pass. Probably because of Flashman.

Thanks for sorting the link I am a bit backward with that sort of thing.
I too like the early stuff although I have both! the retreat makes for a cracking read.

Very nice indeed.

I went for a slightly later period - just prior to the IM on the NWF (it gives me a lot of options)
