Thanks a lot for the nice feedback!

Any how-to pictures available?
Unfortunately I didn't make any pictures while working on the conversions. To be honest I didn't expect that they would turn out well at all.

However it was pretty simple
1.) Clean and assemble the figures
2.) Prepare the workspace
Sounds as simple as it is. But make sure to have a clean area covered with wrapping film. We'll need that later.
3.) Prepare the putty
As you see I used
Greenstuff.
4.) Roll out the greenstuff
Put some sprinkles of water on the film to prevent the greenstuff from sticking. Then roll it out just as you would roll out dough. Try to make the layer as thin as .5 mm to 1mm.
5.) Cut blankets and scarves
For the scarves cut thin strips and for the blankets squares.
6.) Apply them and shape them.
I hope that helps. Those of you who have worked with greenstuff already should know what I mean. It's as easy as it sounds. Otherwise I wouldn't have managed it I presume.

Maybe I'll create some line grenadiers or voltigeurs with my spare. Then I could take some step-by-step shots I you're still interested in it.
Cheers
Stefan
