If you only use daylight for the photos, that's probably why they don't turn out quit how you want them to.

2-3 lightsources, no flash, usually give a reasonable result (and then theres light diffusing, settings on the camera, etc... - there are several tutorials in the Workbench section, I think).
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

Another attempt. Zombie granny.
Must get help with photos......mumble grumble..

I think it helped that this one wasnt varnished. Still......must keep trying.
20 zeds done, 180 to go!
Im thinking TAG British army as a survivor group but am unsure what rules to use.
Ive been at 40k since rogue trader and recently been trying RoE, Rate of fire, SoTR and Old west.
Normally speed paint like my catachan in test frame 1 but spent forever on my RoE british paras.
Im trying for a quick approach to the zombies. Any tips appreciated.
Almost 30 years of painting has taught me little......
I see lead people....

Really nice. Where's this Zombie Granny figure from?
A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://tistaminis.com/

Good job, she certainly looks the part.
For the photo, I'd center on the whole mini (base included)
(i'm always curious how other people's bases look  :))

Now, go shoot the rest  :D
Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons,
for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

Thanks, my pictureography is improving!
I realy think the varnish on the others is causing me hassle. For gaming purposes im giving them a satin coat then a matt (24hrs later). (maybe should wait 28 days....)
Theyre all currently on grassy standard bases but i have a load of self sculpted street bases that im currently cutting away in anticipation of my base order from Fenris.

Now, go shoot the rest  :D

I shall sir! I shall!
Working on the studio "Bub" figure at the mo, so, may take me a while.
Also I have had a steering wheel stuck down my pants all day and its been driving me nuts......

Thanks man.
I think they look a bit glossy and its bleaching out detail and blending. But like I said, thanks. I try.

It certainly does  :)

I've just lured 2 guys at my club into Dead walk Again, so I'll have to dig out my unpainted lead (and plastic) zeds, too... Should be ready for Halloween  :D

Maybe I should abandon this thread and just do an "Im painting zombies" blog. To keep me motivated.
