Most appear to be from the age of Queen Anne's War, or the War of Spanish Succession.  There are numerous great pics in the files section, for your viewing pleasure, and piratical scenarios inspiration.

I believe most of the vessels seen in the games are scratchbuilt by the Battlefield Hobbies crew.
