sticking "non stick mat" to cardboard....???

Ok, anyone have any direct experience of sticking non slip mat to cardboard?

the non slip mat is the stuff you use to stop rugs slipping- the cardboard is mounting board with a printed side - just want to be able to lay it on a table without it slipping....

so what glue, or other method should I use?

Spray adhesive would be my first try.

I would try a contact adhesive such as evostick on the card.
