information on aliens molds
« on: 19 February 2012, 12:17:49 PM »
Does anyone know where i can get molds for 28mm scenery pieces to use in an aliens space hulk game. i mostly want eggs but anything else is ok and if they're by themselves not grouped together would be wonderful.

Have you tried Hirst Arts? They might have something suitable.

You can have a look at Dark Art
Beside the scenery they also have some kind of alien eggs, although these are quite big (height around 25mm).
Then there are the Secret Weapon Alien Invasion Bases
Another possibility would be the Grendel Alien Hive set, which includes a cluster of three eggs (height around 15mm, ca. 23mm including the base)

I have another set of smaller eggs from Battle Build, but it seems they're gone...

It may be possible to upload some comparison pics, if that'd be helpful...

The only alien looking stuff from Hirst are geometrc glpyphs and shapes.  I don't know of anyone that sells molds for making "Giger" looking alien terrain.

Secret Weapon Miniatures also sell alien style eggs too.

The Scotia-grendel stuff for kryomek would be cool.

I know I got a cluster of eggs that would fit on a 40mm base back in the day (still have them somewhere in the shed).

These ones.
