I have played GW games in the past like Necromunda and Mordheim which seem to be the engine that LotOW are derived from.  I have also played LotOW...  so I think that you should give .45 Adventure a try... they are certainly not more complicated than LotOW.  Also Howard Whitehouse's rules are pretty good too... Astonishing Tales I believe they are called.  I just purchased Astounding Tales,  which is the scenario book for his rule set.

I am trying to build a Cave man LOTOW version :D  at the moment form the WAB rules I put together for the Cave_wars Yahoo group.

I am thinking of expanding it to build in some dinosaur hunters for good measure, this and I have actually got a couple of guys interested in it at last :o

This will be the first time I have managed to get guys at the club into any sort of pulp gaming

Can you post a link to this group?
He that trades Liberty for Security will soon find that he has neither.
