Barsoomian scout airship
« on: 27 August 2009, 05:29:13 PM »
Im reading the John Carter´s serie, and I love all your aeronef works. Im working in a little scout barsoomian airship, and this are the first steps, needs lot of work yet.

Size comparison whit a 33 mm miniature:

Rear Radium engine and control panel:

Gun turret:

Im thinking in what kind of miniatures would look great to recreate a red barsoomian, and I think this 33mm spartan warrior of Tale of War miniatures, would be a perfect Carthoris ( the John Carter and princess Dejah Thoris son), removing the spear and siheld, and adding a martian long sword and a ray gun.

You absolutely must provide a parts list and a tutorial so we may shamelessly plunder your awesomeness.

I mean, dang.

Try the Paroom station range on not Barsoom miniatures.

Thx a lot for all your comments. I saw all the miniatures you show me and all of them have a really great desing, but i dont like the sculpt... :'( I think I´ll finally use the spartan warrior whit a little conversion.

About the pieces I use in the ship...good question, I really dont know: are pieces of an optical mouse, a little Mikado train model,CD player pieces etc

added new pics whit the floating tank and nose:
