Start of my Otherworld/Lost World style village.
« on: 14 November 2013, 08:17:01 AM »
These are inspired by a computer game I found on-line artwork for. Beautiful art combined with a mixture of South Pacific/Antipodesian culture.
Great for adventuring skirmishers I thought. The Eggs are Spongebob Squarepants Metal enclosures I found cheap. (They contained 2 Bubbly Gums and a cardboard jigsaw. A rip off for the kids, but ideal for me!)
The legs are ball point pens or felt markers for the Observatory.

Dwelling beginning to take shape. (I know it's slightly squiffy it moved after I thought it had balanced and I wasn't going to do it again!)

Observatory in an even earler stage. (I haven't found a suitable Telescope end yet.)

Hopefully they'll develop nicely.

Here's the Google search image page. Cut and paste it into your browser. (But you know that already)

https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=from+dust&client=firefox-a&hs=Jx4&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=FAFLUo7kKNDs0gXwnoCoBw&ved=0CAkQ_AUoAQ&biw=1093&bih=496&dpr=1.2

The Game is called "From Dust" It's a Godlike control game. The imagery is fantastic. I won't do it justice with words or kit-bashing. But it's inspiring stuff.
