Newb to historical 28mm gaming from Toronto, Canada
« on: 26 February 2013, 11:36:02 AM »
Hello everyone!

I've been lurking for about a week, loved the forum and just registered.

Started with Warhammer. I enjoy all kinds of board wargaming as well, but have 3 small kids so time is at a premium. Focus now is on miniatures games that are fun and that hopefully I can one day play with my kids!

Found that there are quite a variety of options for 28mm gaming and what to try and give that a try. Lots of questions, so please go easy on me!
:)

Welcome to LAF.

May you have a long and merry stay with us.
I know you're too old to play with toy soldiers. So give them to me... NOW!

King Thor;
Welcome to Ontario, Canada. You are just in time to catch Hotlead in Stratford. Check out the website:

http://www.hotlead.ca/

It is on in just a couple of weeks...March 22nd - 24th. Hope to see you there. I will be the one running FIW games and War of 1812 games...look for the flags.
Regards,
Hitman

Welcome King Thor!

I'm a newbie here myself. I hail from western Canada and we play a lot of 28mm.

Cheers,
Thomas
