28mm Iraqi regulars
« on: 25 May 2013, 05:56:31 AM »
Looking to do a small 'force on force'.... force (think that sounds right ;D)

have seen the TAG figures, but they don't IMO do a big enough range

so any idea of any others out there?

Thanks in advance

What do you want? Iraqi regulars or insurgents?

The Mongrel Syrians would work as Iraqi regulars, at least some of them would. A number of the Eureka ZANLA figures would too, especially if you care to do head swaps.

Empress do some generic middle eastern insurgents. Eureka's new Somali range features about half a dozen figures in keffiyah/ head cloth affairs which could be painted up as pretty much anyone from Black September or the PLO onward. Black Scorpion do Iraqi insurgents but these apparently huge figures. No seen them in the flesh personally but that's what I hear.

Stan Johansen?
SJ has a very nice collection of modern Iraqis with AK-47s and body armor
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

Devil Dog Design did a great line of 12-13 Iraqi regulars, in chest rigs, with bowl helmets...They're the devil to find now though!

I have the Black Scorpion  Marines ans Iraqi insurgents and they are huge, ok  Huge is a bit of an understatement.
