Belgian Armoured cars in Russia
« on: 17 April 2014, 09:16:50 PM »
As I was talking to captain Blood at last Salute, I explained him about the Belgian Armoured cars unit that served in Russia until they were stuck due to the Russian Revolution and withdrew through Siberia, then China and from there to San Francisco after which they went to New York and finally made it home by the end of the war.

Here is some more info on the net :

"The Belgian armoured car division continued fighting and in June 1917 was reinforced by the British armored cars (ACEF) commanded by Colonel Locker-Lansson."

Does anybody here have more information on the British armoured cars (ACEF) commanded by Colonel Locker-Lansson, or know where to find it?

It seems the Colonel's name should correctly be Oliver Locker-Lampson, and he and the ACEF are to found on Wikipedia, among others,
