I think you have to realise that, like Wings of War/Wings of Glory, X-Wing is a beer and pretzels game.

This however is its greatest strength, as it's easy to learn but difficult to master. And like other 'simple' games (like DBA) will be a game you can pull out every now and then for something different. Thanks for sharing.
