Sculpting Heads
« on: January 14, 2013, 12:21:18 PM »
Hi,

I've sculpted my first 28mm figures head with greenstuf. I was very happy with the first atempt until I saw the photos.  It looks like he ended in the loosin end of a nasty fistfight. lol
I'll have to practice, practice, practice until it comes out like a Perry of Copplestine sculpt.

Will add bicorne and facial hair today and see if it looks better after that.

Cheers

Photos always turn our expectatives down ;)
But being your first attempt of sculpting a whole head, I find it more than decent.

Kingscarbine,

I have paid good money for miniatures with heads VASTLY less well sculpted than the one you have done here. Well done I say!

Measure with a micrometer, mark with chalk, cut with an axe, hammer to fit, paint to match!

Thanks for the comments guys. I think the head is a bit too big but I can live with that. Here's the final product:
