Medieval Female Zombies?
« on: 09 April 2014, 02:48:57 AM »
I've been looking for, but not finding, some (unarmored) medieval fantasy zombies of the fairer sex. Tattered dresses and longer hair.
I'm aware of the Malifaux Rotten Belles (or whatever they're called) but those are still a bit modern for my purposes.
Undead medieval children would probably be too much to ask for... and yeah, I could probably just take some villager figures and give them a shambler paint job... but maybe there's something a bit more tattered available?

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
K

Do you do any greenstuff or sculpting?  I only ask because something like Mantic zombies with long hair and boobs might do the trick...wouldn't be a ton of modelling.

Heresy Miniatures have one zombie female and one zombie child in tattered non era specific clothing in packs #3 and #4.

I'll second Heresy's Zombies (the ones sculpted by Steve Buddle). They are very nice sculpts.

There's also a few ladies in West Wind's Victorian Zombie box which might work for you, although for the price you'll hopefully have use for the other models too...

I might be doing some renaissance female zombies at some point which might work but no definitive date on that.

I suppose my halflings could work as kids, but they are more renaissance than medieval:

Hasslefree carries some lady zombies, though i think they're wearing surgical gowns so you'd have to putty up the back.

Tengu Models do some female zombies in various states of undress, including one in the nuddy, which could be converted.

Take a look at Blue Moon. They have a nice selection / variety of medieval looking zeds. I've converted them to modern zeds with GS tweaks here and there.

Also added cleavage and hair to a few select poses to represent the fairer sex.

Thanks for all the suggestions!
Those undead halflings are great!... straight to my Want list.

My original thought was to have some female zombies as succubi.
I thought, rather than go the usual winged female demon style I'd look for something like an undead medieval/renaissance prostitute.
I've already got a few harlots I intend painting up as a bit less than fresh...
