VBCW Bolt Action Skirmish

Tried something different at the local club tonight, a four way skirmish using the Bolt Action rules. Each player had one squad and we had an order die per figure/team. For smg's and lmg's we used the Went the Day a Well templates.

The field of battle


The Anglican League cricket club


The BUF militia


The Albertine LDV


The socialist militia


The cricketers advanced on the BUF


While the socialists advanced across the river towards the hamlet


The LDV, having no love for socialists, took position in and around the nearest house to them and opened fire


The BUF opened fire on the cricketers


Who returned the favour...


Causing plenty of casualties and forcing the last couple to surrender


The LDV had forced the socialists back and then fired on the cricketers


Which caused their downfall as it gave the socialists time to advance again


Finally causing the LDV to surrender due to fire from two sides




The cricketers and socialists then called a truce to care for their wounded then head down the pub...

The cricketers are available from Sloppy Jallopy, the only change I made was giving the umpire a Lewis gun.
