Saw a user posting about these on HCRealms and looked them up.

There is a Ninjas vs Robots and then a Monsters vs Military.

Not sure of the scale on the Military guys. The Ninjas have kind of big heads, but the Robots and some of the monsters could be useful.

This post sent me on a two hour internet journey seeking out M.U.S.C.L.E Men, then Battle Beasts and Monsters in my Pocket

I bought a bunch of cheap army men a few years ago to spray paint different colours to represent factions while playtesting rules. In the end it was easier to use little squares of card with info written on them. These'd be great for kids battles as well, or even kids painting practise.

My wife put both of these sets in my stocking this year. The robots and ninjas are close to classic 1/32 toy soldier size. Maybe slightly smaller. The purple monsters vs. military are smaller. The soldiers are probably a little bigger than 40mm. The monsters, particularly the bird guys could do double duty as very tall avian people. But most of them are probably too big for standard war gaming. I will take comparison pics tomorrow as I am away from home.

Oh and I agree these troops are better than the Mars attacks ones, and the plastic is about the same level of crappiness/bendiness. 😜
