You know something suitably weird is going on when you see cuneiform and runic on the same artifact. lol
History viewed from the inside is always a dark, digestive mess, far different from the easily recognizable cow viewed from afar by historians.

Could be worse, at least there's no line of binary code.

Neat looking terrain there.  I could see using it for Deep Wars/Shadowsea games too.

seriously, what are the little rings scattered around the bases?
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

They look like fossilized sea anemones to me

One of Alan's signature gribblies that he's been adding to scenery since the 80s when he did a lot of Grendel's stuff. Fantasy plants, corals, whatever - we normally paint them up in forest greens and add static grass and/or paper plant leaves. YMMV and you can always pop them off the castings or just flock over them :)

Cthulacles.... They're like barnacles, but more eldritch and evil. They feed off the unnatural energies in the stone.  ;)

Those are beautiful.  :o

That's it.... Come December I'm buying one of those mighty Fenris loyalty cards.
