That might be an option. I might try b&q tonight. Since I actually want this as a terrain piece for a new setting I want to make it robust and get it how I want it rather than rush it. Cheers Giles.

I think Giles is right mate! I use hardboard as concrete bases and I'm happy with the result...

I use both mate. I find hardboard and MDF to be as good as each other.

I finally managed to find some 3mm hardboard yesterday. B&Q once more let me down! I'm not going to be able to finish unfortunately,  but I'm going to continue post Build Something!
