Advice for 4ground middle eastern buildings
« on: 19 April 2015, 02:22:52 PM »
I've been putting together the 4ground middle eastern buildings and would like to dirty/texture them up a bit.  Wondering if anyone has done much of this?  I've experimented with the vallejo white stucco that looks pretty good but might be too coarse.  Someone did recommend just using an earth or similar wash but before I try I wanted to do a little more research.

Thanks for any info!

I simply plastered my buildings with exterior filler - however I did spray varnish them before plastering just in case the water from the filler caused any warping.

I suppose the Vallejo stuff is just expensive filler!

I do like the idea of varnishing first as the outside of the buildings are thin "cardboard" glued onto the laser cut wood.
