With the shake up over at Rakham and the realization that pre-paints have a enormous start up cost, problems with Asian manufacturing and the release of sporadic 1/35 and 1/48 scale stuff might be a halt or cancellation to the game proper.  The Dust site has been dead for weeks without even advertising their 1/48 stuff through Quarter Kit makes you think that something isn't right.  It's hard as Hell to get any real hard info from the Dust crew so I guess we all have to wait and find out.  I am probably going to pick up the kits in fear of them never being released in a game format.  I gotta have some of those Luthers!  Great looking stuff and it would be a shame not to see it on the battlefields of Weird WWII.

The Dust 1:48 and 1:36 kits are made by a different outfit from the prepainted 32mm figs are they not?

I honestly dont know.

I do know that dust figures are about 36mm, which does make them within the boundaries of 1/48th. I'm asuming that these are the sprues of the walkers before they are assembled and painted in China. Tomorrow is a payday so I will find out soon enough :)

I'll probably order a set too. In case the prepainted models don't make it.
