Dust figures?
« on: 08 October 2008, 04:12:01 PM »
I seem to remember seeing some Dust mecha models that were going to be released.

I don't remember the scale or when it was to be for sale....

Anybody have any info on this?

Thanks!

The mechas are roughly 35mm or 1/48 scale (close enough for 28mm). Releasedate is december I believe.

There are a large number of stories about it on TGN

The odd unrelated story shows up but most of them are Dust Tactics related :-)

Thanks for the info.  They look great!
Do we know if they are pre-paints or not?

I believe the game has been pushed back until spring. This based on a Gencon report

It seems everything moves pretty slow with Dust with their web site being a perfect example.  Next to no interaction with those who leave feedback and just small bits of vague info released on projects.  I've found out more about their stuff from others then from them.  I think P has only responded once on his own site so makes you think that Dust is a back burner or troubled project.  Hope it comes to fruition.

I read somewhere it's going to be powered by the AT-43 system; did anyone get it too?

From an interview I read, they are currently working with the AT43 system but are modifying it to work in the Dust world. however, they also said if the system dosen't work for them they will change it, so it sounds to me as of gencon its still under development. My guess from all I've read, is we are either looking at a Gama or gencon release 09.

Those mechs are definitely very kewl. I like, what looks to be, the American/Allied ones! They have little Sherman turrets with snub noses!

Yes i must agree with Brian, great idea and awesome previews, but painfully slow, I've already started converting Artizan Yanks by adding body armour! WHERE are those MECHS!! :-X
