The Molly Maguires - an IHMN Company
« on: 01 November 2015, 05:11:03 PM »

The Molly Maguires are a secret arm of the Ancient Order of Hibernians based in the United States. Dedicated to the general improvement of conditions for working men, in particular, Irish working men or immigrants, and the strengthening of the power of the Unions, the Molly Maguires are the Ancient Order's muscle, using violence, robbery and murder to target and intimidate any industrialists or government officials they consider to stand in their way.

The Molly Maguires in the south-west of the United States are led by the Lynch family; four Irish-born siblings. Paddy Lynch, the eldest, is the leader. A charming and charismatic man in his late thirties, he is also a gunslinger of some repute...only bettered by his beautiful but deadly younger sister, Mad Maggie. Next is Sean Lynch, the demolitions man, an expert with explosives of all kinds but especially known for his fondness of using Brick Lane Bottles, something he picked up when learning his trade under the Brick Lane Commune in London. Finally, Niall Lynch, the youngest of the siblings, is a quiet man with an explosive temper and a fondness for fighting as hard as he drinks.

The Lycnhes can call on a large network of Molly Maguires around the south-west, most of whom are familiar with pistol or rifle.

"They're drinkers, they're liars, but they're men!"

They look great. Good idea, transplanting the concept to the Old West (or VSF West, or whatever the case may be).
