3/8e Regiment de Ligne - Talavera

The 8e Regiment de Ligne were among the first French troops to clash with the British at Talavera being in action at Casa de Salinas on the 27th July 1809.
They would subsequently be very involved in the main afternoon attack of the 28th July and come close to severely embarrassing the British defence.

Well you are not the first to have noticed that the larger 15mm or what I would call 18mm offers a great compromise against 28mm in that you can achieve great character to your units without needing an aircraft hangar to play those really big games, which is probably what Napoleonics is all about. You'll be a convert in no time.
