Both work, but the first is more military in style, might fit with some of the more war style story lines in Judge Dredd that I remember from so long ago.. ::) - call it Mk II - for dealing with military incursions, eg Sov Bloc invasion etc

Lost in Space ship is so much more Dredd.  A read Carlos Ezquerravibe.  Go with that one.

Yes thats it.

The lost in space much better fits the old style vibe I remember with the curves, Weaponry hidden, until deployed etc

Call it Mk 1 for policing civvies, and not for Warfare against the Sov Bloc etc, lighter duties as such. That way you got two to paint up for Judicial purposes  :)

Thanks for the replies all.

I'm going to paint the Transformers one up as a 'Gunbird' which isn't mentioned much in the comics but is an attack h-wagon.

I'll use the Lost in Space ship as the H-wagon and am going to try and source a good clear canopy as per Westfalia Chris's suggestion.

Now lawpods.....

These are unmanned small transport ships used by the judges, only picture I have is this one:

So a basic utility shuttle. The closest I can find is the Forge World Arvus Lighter, can anyone suggest any alternatives?

www.daemonscape.com/

They have a number of the old Ground Zero Games stuff (licensed, no knock off) A number of unarmed drop ship types in there.
Under the 6mm stuff are the big rig and big bertra dropships, they have the look of that picture. Despite being 6mm they work quite well with larger scales. if you google for their names you should find pictures of them being used with 15 and 28mm stuff.

To be honest, both will work. H-Wagon design in the comic was very much dependent on whoever was drawing it at the time.

These are my faves from The Apocalypse War

You could always use the Transformer one as a pseudo Manta tank?
