Painting Zombicide
« on: November 17, 2015, 11:45:01 AM »
This week I have started painting the miniatures from Zombicide season 3 to use in the game, for zombie gaming in general, and hopefully with a 3D terrain Zombicide miniatures game.

I've used a speed painting technique using Army Painter coloured primer, block painting and then dipping in Army Painter Strong Tone.

I have replaced the bases with Sally 4th Crystal Clear Terra Bases because the game board is so detailed and colourful that I don't want it hidden by 100 solid plastic bases! Clear base details at: http://wargamesbuildings.co.uk/Clear-Terra-Bases

Like your PJ on them but I'm struggling with the white patches around their feet..
what glue did you use?
Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons,
for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

Yes, I used runny superglue, I normally use gel.
I have some survivors to base tommorow so will base with gel and photograph.

Isn't 2C-epoxy glue better for this? (granted you'll have to hold the figures in plase for some minutes 'till the glue sets.)

The Zombicide sets are loads of fun to paint.  I have a regular "client" who sends me sets to do often.  I will generally do on his approval, a "quick and dirty" job on the zombies, but I love lavishing detail on the survivors. Its fun trying to figure out who they are based on.
