Chain of Command WWI - Attack and Defend
« on: January 07, 2016, 01:47:18 PM »

On Tuesday I had my first wargame of 2016 when I played Lee at Chain of Command WWI pitting my Stosstruppen against his Tommies.

Having suffered several beatings at the hand of these chaps over the past few months I was hoping 2016 would bring better fortune.

Great looking game! And the beginning to a very promising 2016 for you!  ;)

Nice stuff! Did you modify the rules at all or did you find no need? And where did you get the stats for things like the Whippet, Minenwerfer, etc? I am working on some WW1 infantry at the moment (along with some 1/2400 WW1 naval) and love CoC for WW2, so this could be a good pairing for me.

Nice AAR. Really like the figures and terrain. I'm also a massive fan of Chain of Command though haven't used it for WW1 yet. We are still using Through the Mud and the Blood here.

Just a quick question, where did you get the trenches from? They're excellent. Are they your own builds?

Thanks for sharing!

Cheers.

The dug outs are vac forms from Early War Miniatures (2 for £13 GBP).  At that kind of price it wasn't worth building our own.

We also have vacform items from Amera and Kallistra in our collections.
