Oldehammer Building Number One - updated 14.01.16
« on: February 01, 2016, 08:37:22 AM »
My latest on-line build is a Warhammer inspired card building very much in the style of the earlier White Dwarf articles and tutorials.

I hope that you like the naive style.

Full details can be found on the Blog.

I would love to have buildings like that one on my table. Really sweet. I really like the couple of green roof tiles smattered about.

If I could offer one piece of advice, it would be to add some brown wash in the recesses of the white, just to give it a smidge of shading/dirtying effect. But that is really the only thing.

Tangibly old-school. Makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside :)

Great build. Looking foward to part 2.

Nice.  Reminds me of my first ever piece of legit wargaming terrain.

Oldehammer Building Number Two is going to be an outhouse, isn't it?   (I'm such a child.)

Love it! I appreciate the skill and craftsmanship in some of the ultra realistic stuff I see on the interwebz but there is something about the more cartoony old skool style that just makes me smile

I agree - they are great fun and quick to produce.
