Pulp Alley at Historicon (Two 6-Player Scenarios)

I just got back from Historicon where I ran two sessions of Pulp Alley. Had a total of 12 players over the two games with 9 of them having never played Pulp Alley before. Games went well and everyone had a really good time. I had a great time and was able to get a couple of really good deals on some 28mm vehicles and terrain pieces from the flee market and vendors.

Get the Ship! A Pulp Alley Adventure
The plan is simple, as it always is, sabotage the ship before is completes its repairs and loads up for another run. Are you and your band of intrepid followers up to the task? Or will the ship’s
crew get the best of you and complete their nefarious plans? Pulp Alley is a fast paced, 28mm scale, skirmish game set in a 1930s pulp universe. Rules taught and easy to learn.

Pulp Alley is one of my favorite game systems to GM at a con. After the first two turns I really just sit back and let the players play the game and  just answer questions as they come up and make sure the game flow. The next Con on my schedule is Carnage on the Mountain in November (http://www.carnagecon.com/). I will be running a big Pirate game there with Stephen Smith.

I was able to play in Josh's first game Friday night. His scratch built freighter was absolutely amazing 
His scenario was really neat too; he had an actual timer for the explosive charges we were to set - so we were to tell him exactly how long we wanted the charge set for (15 minutes for example) and 15 minutes later, in real time, the charge would go off    Cards were played often and usually to hilarious effect. I think 3 turns in a row cards were played on me preventing me from shooting an enemy 
As usual, I roll terribly in games and never got to set a charge (or anyone else on our side unfortunately) as I was locked in a back and forth battle with the player next to me league - who was a super nice guy!
