Another model size question
« on: December 11, 2015, 03:14:51 AM »
Dacians this time.

The Warlord Games Imperial Veterans box set proved to be very small compared to everthing else meant to be 28mm. I have however found that their Germanic Tribesmen are bigger and do not look out of size when lined up next to Aventine models. So here comes my question who does Wargames Foundry Dacians compare to Warlord Games Dacians?

Any help is very much appreciated.

Nobody replied to this one the first time. So let me try again.

Can anybody confirm that the Foundry Dacians are smaller than Warlord Dacians?

Help is very much appreciated  :)

Not entirely sure but I would've thought so given the older Foundry ranges are more in line with 25mm than the 28mm that Warlord offer.

cheers

Yes, Foundry's Dacians are smaller than Warlord's and of a distinctively more slender and less animated style. However, to me it's not too noticeable and so I wouldn't mind mixing them.
As always, best get a few samples in order to see if the difference really bothers you. :)
