I have a ton of those Tau parts waiting work, though the 'guns' may end up being hulls of their own.

Handsome work altogether!

I'm an FT fanboy since the late 90's, but I was thinking the drones MIGHT make some variations on one War Rocket faction.  ;)

Now, FT has bio. You know you will. Maybe a 'nid version of Phalons? lol

Doug

The larger Tau guns would make for cool space ships I daresay. But what's this War Rocket faction?

In regards to bio ships though I dunno man, you've kinda managed to embed the idea in my head now. Hmm, I could use a box of warriors, termagaunts and a hive monster thing. You've embedded the idea into my head now damn you!  ;D

Probably the Zenithians.  They're pretty much your classic "Martian saucer men" fleet, which the Tau drone bodies would work well for.

Glad to help.  One nice thing about Tyranids is the number of extra parts you wind up with.  Makes it very easy to kitbash other projects out of their sprues.

Rather deceptively stated, I was. Meant 'while I'm a fanboy,' these could work in the War Rocket game by Hydra.

Glad to help, indeed. What's REALLY going on is we're cackling like maniacs. I'm even putting my little finger to the side of my mouth and saying, 'evil, EVIL!'  :D

Good work Bergil.

He was the special effects guy and model maker who scratch-built all the spaceships and props for BBCTV series in the 70s - and often as not, blew them up too!  Dr Who, Blake's 7... and he sometimes appeared on a kids' general interest programme called Blue Peter to show us how to build our own.

He is an inspiration to a generation of now-balding SF fans and model-makers.

I wrote to him in the late '80s asking about getting into special effects. I still have his reply. Great bloke.
Waiter, my soup is giggling.

Bergil,
That's some fantastic work.  Really a great grouping of parts in a way that those not familiar with GW would have no idea of the origin of the bits.

Ah nid guns, that would be alot easier.

Yes well, thank you.

I reckon most people DO have a faily good grasp of GW bits though. The trick will be getting a hold of some more obscure plastic sets.
