This week sees another fifteen comrades join the cadre. After the efforts of last week and this only another dozen or so figures to paint and I'll have my platoon ready for some Chain of Command.

Lovely figures.

I am required to point out that the shoulderboards for the Soviets were only introduced in 1942, but personally, I think figures with shoulder boards look better than those without. I'm very tempted to get the German figures to complement my own Soviets.

As a Brit in Wisconsin Thanksgiving does not have that much of a cultural reference for me so I took the opportunity to crack on painting the WWII Soviets.



Over the long weekend I managed to finish off 34 figures, not a bad result!

This weeks blog update is more figures painted and added to the Fall Blau project - Germans this time with a Pak36 for additional fire support and another three LMG teams so I can double-up and use them as PanzerGrenadiers.
