Frostgrave in Austin
« on: March 22, 2017, 03:04:18 AM »
Hey everyone,

Longtime gamer here, relatively new to Frostgrave and very new to this forum. I've been fortunate enough to find a gaming group and play Frostgrave on a regular basis as Dragon's Lair in Austin. I've posted about it on my blog, and I thought I would share some of these posts here. Please be aware that my figures are painted to a (barely) tabletop standard and come nowhere near the awesome paint jobs some of you post. I do think we play with some pretty neat terrain, though--one of the members of the group enjoys making scenery for the game, including casting from Hirst molds.

First, here are some pics from my first game of Frostgrave, at MillenniumCon just north of Austin (please note that none of the figures or terrain belong to me):

I'll share more in subsequent posts.

I also kitbashed some animated constructs to fit into my warband (the enchanter used to run a tavern).

More pics in this post at my blog, Super Galactic Dreadnought.
Bonus pic (treasures from Reaper):

Yes, I'm better at painting nonliving things.

That looks very cool!

I am not very good in English ... but, the constructs ... is this what is called "barrel-chested"?

btw - is the broom's lady a member of your gang, too? Where is she from, please?
best wishes

Love the constructs!  The small one almost looks like a primitive R2-D2!

She is from one of the Reaper Townsfolk packs.
She is very versatile and is also resident in my Old West town.
