Mr: I like the skin tones on the Mongols. Who makes them? Are the heads separate on them?

Khartoum: I'm enjoying the variety on the Indians, when I did mine I went too boring and white overall. What's the story on the guy with specs and what is he holding?

They're fireforge mongol cavalry, multi-part plastic kit with separate heads, the helmets/hats are separate pieces too, although I did enhance a few with some greenstuff fur on two of the hats and some hair on one of the bare heads

Thanks for the comment.

3 of the models are linked to the film Carry on up the Khyber.  These include the figure of Private Widdle (Charles Hawtry) in disguise as a Burpa.  The thing he has in his hand is his fake beard

Dr Mathias is of the American persuasion. I don't think the Carry-On films really made much of an impact on Cousin Jonathan. Therefore he is probably sadly unfamiliar with what can only be described as the pinnacle of the colonial film-making genre that is Carry on up the Khyber. A shame that such a prominent and distinguished member of LAF's colonial camp should have such gaps in his knowledge.  ;)

I met Bernard Bresslaw once. He was a big man. Bloody massive. I wish I'd asked him for his autograph, but he looked like he didn't want to be bothered.

After I posted my question I did a little research :)

You'll have to forgive my stunted upbringing- I'm planning to close that gap!

It's worth a good giggle if you get to watch it - one of the best of the Carry on Films I feel.

Not a stunted  thing I know there are probably US equivalents that have never crossed my mind but classics in there own ways.  But then maybe that's why I'm on 5'4.

Might just come up to Bernard Breslaws naval :)
