This is a topic that I'm getting into myself. Played a Bob Murch game with his China Station once. Some of the best gaming terrain I've ever seen. Have been searching for weeks for Chinese and SE Asian buildings, and I'm surprised by the lack of commercially available models. By contrast there's quite a bit for Japan. Will be able to adapt/convert a few Japanese buildings. And the Knights of Dice Chinatown and Sarissa SE Asian buildings will come in handy. But it looks like there is some scratch building in the future. Fortunately there are a images online to help understand the architecture.

Once Chinese and SE Asian towns are built, it will be a struggle to populate them, as there are so few 28mm miniatures of Chinese and SE Asian villagers and townspeople. I've found only a handful of Tsuba, Black Hat, and Pulp Figures (mostly out of production) Chinese, and a few Vietnamese villagers in Vietnam War ranges.

Just remember that if it's SE Asia and it's 20th C it's as likely as not to be European in style.
