As there are Barbarians in Frostgrave I'm hoping for some appropriately dressed Amazons inhabiting the Ghost Archipelago...

Cannot wait for Ghost Archipelago.

As for female mini's - head swaps from Statuesque Miniatures simply do the trick for me.
Works okay for Frostgrave, under all the wrappings it is difficult to differentiate between them.

Unfinished Statuesque Frostgrave figure and a Shield Wolf Shield Maiden (not relevant but the only picture to hand).

The Frostgrave miniatures work also well with the Shieldmaiden heads and Warlord Games female survivor heads. Although I prefer the first option, have assembled one and will see if I can take pictures but seeing the Statuesque heads I think those are the best option currently available.

So... These plastics are replacing GW as my miniatures of choice.

The old militia/mordheim sprue is really showing its age. Things like this just look outstanding in comparison.

Not really familiar with this game but those preview miniatures look very nice indeed. Any idea who sculpted them?

I believe it's Bob Naismith

Not this time! Bob did the original Frostgrave Soldiers and Cultists, but these crewmen were done by Giorgio Bassani (Frostgrave Barbarians and Gnolls).

Thanks for the info.  :)

As I posted earlier, not familiar with the game but I am now very interested after seeing these previews. Looking forward to seeing more images and hope we see some more Frostgrave plastics of this quality from Giorgio in the future.

Might there be some sort of "Conquistadors?"
