Really nice set of figures DB, really full of character and nicely brought to life.  Can't say which is my favourite as they are all so different and it changes every time I look.

Like the bases as well with the wood effect

Thanks Khartoum2...appreciated.  I have had these figures forever and was finally glad to get them painted.  I tried to paint them all (I have about 10) but had to give up to push these 5 to completion.  The wood effect is not intentional...I think its a creation of lighting.

I was thinking of getting some pulp figures for this round...you picked a good set to bring to life.  The bottle on the water/beach base is a great add on...wish I had thought of that...

Thanks for the comments - The bottle was an after thought to be honest - when originally put figures together thought it was a grenade and preferred the rifle.  Then realised it was a bottle and went for it.  If had realised in the first place would have undoubtedly put it in his hand
