It arrived on 27th April - nice kit but the plastic ignores the revell contacta!

 Yes, whatever plastic Rubicon use is a bit temperamental about glue - I also use Contacta & found very lightly keying the surfaces to be mated with some fine wet & dry/glass paper helped - well nothings fallen apart yet at any rate.

Yes it sort of sticks but the plastic is very resistant!  Apparently tamiya solvent works better on them?  No idea but it might be worth a go.

IIRC I used Humbrol on the last Rubicon kit I made but then I have also used the Italeri brush on and Revell and had no issues with adherence. Hope they haven't changed the plastic.
