Tough choice, both great entries. Great skin tones, vibrant colours and lovely zebras on the village entry, and amazing heraldry on those knight, just amazing what you've done with those old placcy bretonians

Joe, the Medieval world is your palette, for sure! The layering and details on the shields, surcoats, lances, etc., brings out your amazing artistry every time! Love it!  :-*

Michi, the colors on the clothes are eye-popping! That orange one is amazing...love the simple pattern, too. And the zebras in the background... :o

This matched pair win the brilliant, vivid Technicolor award.
Both superb - yet again this round, a match I thought would be quite close. But not so. I guess, if one entry has an edge, then it'll have the same edge for a lot of people, but as ever with the LPL, the vote differential doesn't proportionately represent the absolute difference in quality.
I found this extremely hard to choose on. The heraldry is, as ever with Joe's entries, wonderfully executed, and the highlighting is soooo sharp it's spot on.
But the combination of the beautiful colours on the tribespeople and the drama of the zebras...  :o

All I can say is 'gosh!' Both exceptional  :-*

Yeah, if there was ever an entry that had an edge, it´s Joe´s. Actually my entry can´t really compete with his. Big applause from a medieval fan, I pull my hat and bow to your skill. It´s an honour to be paired with that entry. I love the fun of taking part in this LPL!!!

Thanks all for the positive comments, appreciated! Funny that this is the vivid technicolor award-winning entry pair for the round! Do we get a special badge for that ;)

Michi, your entry is quite striking and well executed, clean highlights, great eyes, and a nice scene as well. Kudos on the great paints, and good luck with the rest of the event!

thanks

Both entries have beautiful strong colors making the choice very difficult! 8)
