Horse and Musket works just fine for Pirates, Musketeers, even ECW.

Do a fast play version and call it Bucc Fast. You'll have the bearded, unkempt, men on park benches and pedestrian underpasses feeding from your hand.

Second edition Horse and Musket covers the pirating era pretty well. I added all the extra rules and traits from this playtest into it.

Thanks BaronVonJ, I'm keen to try Musketeering and unfortunately the Redoubt miniatures dont fit with other figures I have.
