I think I had one pack from that range. Tossed them in for free with some oriental figs I sold as there was very little detail and castings were extremely rough obliterating what little detail there was.

You're much better off with Old Glory villagers.

What figures are they? I haven't seen them before. Even if they are poor quality they look like they could paint up well enough to mix into a large group.

Village Green/Stronghold used to have some oriental civilians, but their website is often a bit hit'n'miss.

Otherwise, you could look at Museum Miniatures, they mainly do 15mm, but have a 28mm samurai range that includes some very good looking porters :

Some friends of mine slightly modified some of the West Wind / Old Glory Vietnam civvies for their Chinatown. To my uneducated eye they looked pretty good. Worth a shot if you want more diversity.
