Some medievals
« on: May 21, 2017, 03:06:41 PM »
Hey guys, I've got some mid-12th century miniatures just painted and waiting for basing. I wanted a cohesive colour scheme of a single knightly household. The miniatures are from BTD from their 2nd Crusade command pack with the standard bearer replaced by a spearman from their Nroman command.

Hope you like them! There definitely will be more high medieval miniatures coming but judging by my rate of painting... yeah... may not be for a while

Those look great!  BTD has some gems in there.  I have a ton of their medievals that I use for my historical/fantasy skirmishes.
Can't wait to see more.

Are the shields loose with the intent to attach later?

Thanks guys! I realize the photo is quite terrible, but that's the best I can do for now :D Also, the shield design withe the green bird on a split field is my first freehand shield ever, that's at least slightly complicated :D So looking to get better with those!

Yeah, they are loose for now :D I misplaced my metal glue and didn't find it until later.
