Very nice minis and scenery! I like very much your painting style, specially the weathering on the timbers, top notch!  :-*

Thank you very much for sharing!

The terrain pieces that you have added are really great too. What company makes them?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the compliments gents. The timber and foods stuffs are from Ristuls. https://www.ristulsmarket.com/
The tables were scratch build.

I managed to play my first game of Blood & Plunder with my son. We used 100 point forces. My Spanish militia units are not ready yet, so I used some Pike & Shotte musketeers as stand-ins. Also The Spanish commander is still on the painting table so I used suitably coloured samurai instead.

The game went quite smoothly for a first game with occasional reading of the rulebook. My ten year old pulled out a victory with the Brethen of the Coast.  That was some deadly musketry.

A few pictures from the game:

The matching d10 dice and the d6 for marking stuff is a clever idea!  ;)

Beautiful game setup on one of the most realistic mats I've seen!  :-*

A few pictures from the second game.
This time my mostly French Brethen of the coast were raided by my gaming buddy with his English Buccaneers.
It was as mall 100 points/side battle as were still learning the rules.

The game itself was extremely bloody. I ended up losing 15 brethen of my 18 strong force.

Phew!
Finally I got the pictures working again.
I was not a good idea to try to share them with google drive.

Just managed to finish these for tomorrows game. It’ll be a 150 point games with my French against my friends evil Englishmen.

Spansih captain (Not going to appear tomorrows game. I just wanted to paint one.)

Marins

Boucaniers

The more I paint these miniatures the more I like to paint them. They are really easy to paint and good results can be achieved with quite small effort. It took me three days to paint the lot.

Love the mat!  I'm assuming that is the 4x4 deep cut studio mat, correct?  You've about convinced me to buy one based on your pictures alone.
