Wow, Jagganath, you paint fast. Weren't the minis delivered only a week ago?

Nice job on them, anyway!

Fantastic painting as usual, Jagannath, and it's so good to see non-greens.
Who makes them in 15mm?
I don\'t know whether to be a good example or a horrible warning.

Thanks both - Yeah had to plow through these DivisMal, I abandoned my intended entry on Monday night, it was going too slow! (I do have a really good tanned skin recipe, which is why I chose that scheme!)

@capthugeca - they're from Slap Miniatures kickstarter, only arrived recently so I'm sure they'll be up for sale very soon. Really excellent sculpts - some of the best out there in 15mm for my money.

I second that. I've been looking for good 15mm Space Orks for several years and possess every sigle model out there to my knowledge. The Slap Minis are en par (or even superior) to the casting quality of the best ranges out there, like Demonworld and Copplestone and they offer a large (maybe the largest?) amount of different poses. They're simply magnificent.

I'll try to make some comparisons with Vanguard, CP, 15mm.co.uk & Co in the next couple of days.

This looks like it will be quite a close match and quite rightly IMHO  ;)
For 15mm, that is another beautifully painted set of figures Rory. If you hadn't specified them as 15mm I would absolutely have taken them as well painted 28s. Kudos!
Against that, I really love the rich copper of Marc's robots. I've seen these miniatures done quite a few times before, but that painting is really crisp and makes them pop wonderfully.
Great job, both of you  :)

Jag...whatever that recipe for the skin is, it cooks up to a great figure! Great tones and highlighting. Braz - I love the bright metallic look to these guys. Nice work.

Thanks both - all credit due to the sculpts on these ones, they're detailed so well they feel like they paint themselves, really reminded me of the Copplestone 15s in that respect.

Oooh yes please - I'd love to see some more pics of the Vanguard ones. They're a bit spendy (I don't like duplicate poses so to get 10 odd poses I'd need to buy 3 different packs) but they look good - different to the Dorfs, but good nonetheless.

Great entries here, excellent work painters!

I really like the richness of those metallics. When I paint with metallics I can never get it to look nearly as good, so kudos on that! Excellent composition overall.

As always Jag, excellent work on the 15mm figs.

Thanks

Thanks chief.

Sorry Braz, just realised I hadn't complimented you on a great entry - love them! I almost bought those very minis for my entry in this round. Your bronze is great and I love the scene.

Braz - Big brother and then big brother again - to get so much done wow.  Really love the brass metallic - shines out and looks real, superb

Jag - great entry, hard to believe they're 1's and not 28's - wish I could get skin like this at bigger scales

Thanks mate. I really enjoy tanned skin, there's some great paints out there for skin tones (these guys have gone a bit heavy on the fake tan mind...)

So impressed with those 'Dorfs' (Why do you keep on calling them Dorfs?!)
