Having bought and read through these rules it strikes me that they would be better , and more accurately, titled General de Division.

Possibly, but the 'General de Division' title was already a published trademark.  ;)

Thanks guys . Norm, I,ve watched the Lardies videos , but these will also be useful as an Outsiders view on the rules, this guy did a useful series on the Blucher rules, clear and easy to follow.   We hav,nt played the first game yet, still reading through them . I,m planning to put the first game on using cards for a run  thro.
