I like the lower legs on this model. I have never liked the big bellbottom GW marine legs
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

2019 Painting Challenge :
figures bought: 500+
figures painted: 57
9 vehicles painted
4 terrain pieces scratchbuilt

They look great ;)

How did you use the contrast paint on the armor? Two coats and than edge highlights?
I primed the mini in a light grey (GWs grey seer spray primer) that applied one layer of contrast paint, after that pure white edge highlights! Really that easy!
cheers and keep on gaming, Agis - https://www.adpublishing.de

My take on the splendid new Mephiston miniature.

"Mephiston, originally named Calistarius, and also called the "Lord of Death," is the Master of the Librarius and the Chief Librarian of the Blood Angels Space Marine Chapter. He is the only member of the Blood Angels or their Successor Chapters known to have defeated the pull of the Black Rage not once, but twice in his life, regaining his sanity both times. He is a Librarian of potent ability, believed to be one of the mightiest psykers in the entire Imperium of Man.
Yet there are whispers that Mephiston paid a dreadful price for his resurrection, that when he mastered the Black Rage something altogether more terrible took its place. It is to be hoped that such rumours are baseless, mere carrion latching onto greatness, but Mephiston keeps his secrets close, and only time will reveal the truth."

IMO he fits very well into my BA Primaris force...

Lovely.  They certainly did improve the sculpt on the new Mephiston.  I forget, is he one of the "Primaris upgraded" character models, or is he still in scale with the older figures?  Guessing the former by the group shot, but maybe I'm wrong?

Primaris size. To be honest I can't stand the old scale Marines anymore...

I don't imagine they'll be around much longer.  Not a single new release this edition other than maybe 30K stuff, and by next edition I'd bet they start quietly disappearing.

Blood Angel 30K transfers from Forge World, expensive but VERY good!

I have to admit that is one reason I have not bought any new Games Workshop - I have too many womble sprues (of all flavours) awaiting construction and the rescaling irritates me.
