Cool! I thought this had died on its feet. Good to see it hasn't quite. Very nice.

I had planned another couple of entries, but got swept up in the LPL instead. If there are still places to fill after the LPL is done I shall probably post a couple more.

I am also struggling to get an entry in - keeps getting postponed by other projects, but now I have some Song of Drums and Shakos and Black Powder in the pipeline, so I expect to get something done, at last... The first one may be some 1:72 plastic, though...

The sheepskin has a wrong shape, yes, I know.
I do not shade/hightlight in this scale, never have, as I only paint them as parts of units that have to be easily recognizable from afar on the table.

Perry Miniatures, 28mm



Can't believe I started painting this model almost a year ago and particularly for this club.
It's testimony to both my lacking mojo and my ever-growing disaffection with the Perry's metal minis. While I love this model's idea, its execution is rather crude. Repainted it several times, and still not happy. Yet, it's a mere marker for gaming purposes (a magnetic 'dial' of sorts will be added), so I called it a day.
