Some more Senshado home brew, a quick 5-tank flag match between Oarai and Kuromoromine:

Say, Cat - is this based on the Girls und Panzer manga series?

I watched that with the Little Fish (aged 10 & 8) and they really enjoyed it. A game based on the series should be a hoot!

Yes, the rules are directly based on recreating the action in the anime and manga.  Lots of tactical maneuvre and sneaky tanks; loading time is very important, so lighter guns fire before heavier guns — so the underdogs have a fighting chance of winning against the powerhouse schools.

Yesterday, Oarai lost however.  They pushed their flag tank too far forward.  Black Forest's sneaky Pz.III was all over it, but the little Hetzer kept dodging and laying smoke, then the Angler Fish team took out the pesky Pz.III with a long shot from the flank.  Meanwhile, Maho pushed straight in with her Tiger I, quickly taking out the Hippo team, then Rabbit, and then got into position to KO Turtle, the flag tank.

When the match ended, Duck team was racing for a cliff edge where they hoped to make a desperate leaping diving attack to fire down on Black Forest's flag Panther tank.

The first draft was written by a friend in the UK.  I did a lot of work polishing and tweaking it back in '16-'17.  Was about to pick it up again just as the pandemic hit... finally getting it on the table again now.  I'm in the middle of writing up the rules with a lot more English applied than the original very sketchy houserule notes.

Great looking games above - particularly curious about the Panzer Girls inspired game and its rules - hopefully, you will show how we can get our grubby little paws on these Cat.

Training up the next generation, HOTT game in a world created by my 8-year-old son. Will the Kingdom of Endorondo become an Empire?

Other pictures are interesting. I don't know
what the 'thing in the wood' is, but it frightens me.
Nice map too. I always liked making maps & started
about the same age as your son has.

I'll second Golgotha's sentiments, Cat. Would be interested to try this out. Might get old and dusty 1/76 tanks back onto the tabletop.

Anyway, finished up the last game of the Stargrave Quarantine 37 'zombie' campaign. Played pretty well but my opponent was bereft of luck as tam Ziodberg grabbed four of the objectives and (mostly) escaped unharmed. The opposition captain was taken down and died during the end game admin. Campaign is over and Team Zoidberg came up trumps.

Saturday Thomas (my 7yo son) and I spent some quality time together and I took him to his first wargaming tournament. We played three games of the WW2 game Bolt Action. I let him make all the decisions and roll the dice while I made suggestions and kept everything within the rules. We both had a great time and he won an army pack for being the youngest player. Pictures from the games here:https://wyndehurstproductions.blogspot.com/2022/03/father-son-gaming.html
