French VS Austrians in a cavalry engagement using a friend's diy rules.

This was just after the Austrian cuirassiers and cheveaux leger were chased off the field. The remaining squadron of hussars were surrounded and ultimately ridden down and captured. A terrible result for the Austrians given this was a campaign game.

They are partly made up of the B and Q artificial grass samples.

Managed to fit the n another game this week too.

1918 in a built up area , Brits defending a bridge.

Mostly scratched in this game but a mix including Queen,s Hussar resin and Raventhorpe, Hovels .

Thing is we were lazy and laid out the table for 20mm so was quite a surprise that the 20mm buildings work ok with 28mm - as long as you keep to the same scale the effect is ok.

It's the earth bunds that help set it off. Nice work. I wonder how it would look with a very short (perhaps cut down pile) and some resin water effect?
