We played two more games from the Devil's Run campaign yesterday. Lots of fun again with tons of mayhem, crashes and gunfire.

Excellent game, Devil's Run.  I'm in the middle of painting up my models at present.

Quar...Chain of Command

Fresh from the Holn Front, reports just in...A fierce attack on the Royalist trenches has been bloodily repulsed with heavy losses on both sides. The Crusader Scum led by Syrnol (Colonel) LLawrenssss and Caerton Captain Muckdonalt and the 33rd light assault infantry attempted to break the line with a brave but foolish frontal assault.
is was not before the Crusaders had the attack started with an opening barrage which delayed the reaction of the honourable Officer cadre of the Brave 111st (eleventyoness) however the Rhyflers (riflemen) jumped into action. This was not before the crusaders had managed to rush forward on the left flank whilst holding a strong position on the right. The Royalists held their trench line, reacting to the thrust on their left but not noticing the feint on the right. Charing forward a section of crusaders managed to avoid the fire coming form 2 sections of infantry and an emplaced HMG of the White independent auto gun company. On the right another section of Crusader Rhyflers overran one of the forward Royalist positions without being opposed.
To a hail of bullets the assaulting crusaders were able to push forward and lob grenades into the trench, pinning the HMG whilst on the right another section pushed forward into the main trenchline threatening the royalists flank.
It looked ire for the Royalists with the crusaders twice seizing the initiative and with no effective responding fire, all looked bad for a flank attack through the trenches
A section of Royalists was brought up from the rear, waddling to the sound of the guns and quickly moved to the right through the trench line. There was a bloody and protracted series of hand to hand combat which saw the threat brutally annihilated and a lone Rhyfler retreating to the rear.
Finally the brave lads of the Royalist cause found their mark and poured rifle fire into the assaulting crusaders and killing 6 of them. They in turn fled form the hail of death, chastised from the Royalist Trench (I didn`t roll a one!) .
It was at this juncture that the crusade command thought better of their failed assault and called a halt to the onslaught, many a mother and wife of quar can rest and give thanks to the sense finally shown by the Crusading despots who do have a heart!!!!!

Love it! I've liked Quar since I first saw em, their little world is awesome, with all the odd creatures and such. Chain of Command with Quar, now there's an idea! If it weren't so expensive buying from across the pond I'd have caved by now...

I know, I was lucky that got these when it was almost $2 to the £1 and have been collecting since 2008 when they first came out. Real beautiful fun critters. I am building goblins and halflings to pit against them in the future using macrocosms Weird war 1 minis  :D

Whoa, cool Quar! I don't see them show up very often.

Wow, the idea of combining Quar with CoC is brilliant!

Now for something completely different: my first game of HOTT

That HoTT game looks so much better than most games of it's ilk. That terrain board is very nice.

And the 10mm game: wow! What a spectacle.

Here's a photo from our last game of, uh, our last game of...

Oh, who am I kidding? It's just our annual Lego Christmas village set-up.

But we could totally play a game on there. I'm thinking some variant of Fistful of Lead, but I'm open to suggestions.
